Agnes, a daughter of the gods, descends to Earth to understand suffering by becoming human. Her time on Earth moves like a dream- splitting, doubling, and evaporating through time & space- as she learns about the depths of the human experience from, among others, a self-deprecating Writer, a lovestruck Officer, and a melancholy Lawyer.
